Some Nice Reviews
I’ve learned since publishing my story collection that there’s quite a difference between the before and after. Before a manuscript is accepted for publication, it’s all about crafting, editing, and revising. And of course being persistent in getting a publisher’s attention. After the book is in print, it’s about who’s going to read it and how favorably it might be reviewed. I’m happy to say that Carol Reid at The Short Review, and Barbara Lloyd McMichael at The Bellingham Herald had nice things to say. Take a look!

Anne: I just finished reading “All The Roads That Lead From Home” and wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed it. The prose is beautifully written, and I walk away from the collection feeling like I’ve been to Finger Lakes, to Dunston, and that I’ve met some lovely (if sometimes quirky) characters. The book is lovely as well. Thank you for a good read! Nina Bayer
